Total nonsense....Since revenues, household income, and expenditures are ALL in nominal dollars, inflation isn't a factor. Likewise since population growth is included in total revenues, total expenditures, and total household income, that's not a factor either.

And it the courts impose huge costs on the state, it's the job of the state to cut expenses elsewhere, yes? Isn't that what a normal household would do?

The income measure used in the ad and the website is median household income, which does not account for population growth in any way.

OK fine. So over 10 years tax revenue went up 99% and spending went up 115%. Population growth went up 14%.

My point stands.
